It seems Alanis Morissette has found something of a new home: the end credits of Disney movies.

The alternative rocker featured her song "Wunderkind" as the final titles rolled for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe in 2006. This summer she'll headline the closing credits for Disney's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time with another original song, "I Remain".

"It's an honor to write from the voice of an empowered princess about a love that empowers them both to new heights, healing and consciousness," said Morisette. "The song wrote itself and this story was the ultimate muse."

While that's nice to hear, I'll settle for a song that doesn't completely ruin the final mood of the movie by inciting laughter. Yes, Leona Lewis and James Cameron, I'm looking at you and Avatar's giggle-worthy anthem "I See You".

Harry Gregson-Williams, who also composed for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and Prince Caspian, wrote the score for Prince of Persia. The soundtrack, including Morissette's song, will hit stores, Amazon and iTunes on May 25th. The movie arrives Memorial Day weekend, May 28th.
