Well, it’s no surprise but Jessica Alba will officially not be starring in the rumored I Dream of Jeannie movie. Some you may remember that last week word came around that she was trying to worm her way out of her Fantastic Four contract to take the role (story here), but according to Cinematical and “The Daily News” she denies it.

Instead, Alba says she’ll be starring in a little indie movie with Hayden Christensen and Sigourney Weaver called The Wake. Also, she’s developing a very important line of baby clothing. Nevermind that she’s not pregnant, and doesn’t have nor has she ever had a baby. I guess she was a baby at some point in her life, and that makes her a perfect baby clothing spokesperson. Or something. Does this mean she’s officially passed Paul Walker as the dumbest celebrity in America? At least she’s harmless… so far.
