Alice In Wonderland All Over Your Television
With less than two months until Tim Burton's version of the Alice in Wonderland fairy tale comes to theaters, it still feels like we aren't getting the whole story. We've had trailers, extended trailers, what feels like thousands of images, featurettes, and behind-the-scenes looks, but still no tight grasp on exactly what direction Burton is taking the classic tale. Fortunately for us, though, we may just find out in the next few weeks.
Disney has sent us a press release announcing that, in the coming weeks leading up to and own Super Bowl Sunday, ABC, ESPN, and ABC Family will be showing 60-second looks at the new film, culminating with a spot during the big game. The spots will premiere on January 31st (this coming Sunday), and will show during programs such as Desperate Housewives, The Bachelor, Greek, The Parent Trap, the NFL Pro Bowl and the Nuggets/Lakers game on February 5th. Oh, and don't worry, they will also appear online (because I'll be damned if you ever catch me watching The Bachelor), and we'll be sure to post them as they come. The promotional event has also come with a 15-second spot that you can watch below. And let us all pray that we can finally see that damned caterpillar.
