Alison Lohman is another actress, like Kristen Bell, that looks a lot younger than she is. The star of White Oleander and the upcoming equine movie Flicka may appear to be in her late teens or low 20s, but lo and behold, she’s nearly 27. That fresh-faced appeal is doing wonders for her career.
According to Variety, she has joined the domestic drama Things We Lost In The Fire, where she will play Benicio Del Toro’s co-dependent girlfriend. Susanne Bier, the Danish director of Open Hearts will helm the project for DreamWorks.
The script, written by Allan Loeb, is about a woman (Halle Berry) whose husband (David Duchovny) suddenly drops dead. Del Toro will play his surviving best friend, who helps the mourning family cope with their loss. He’ll also deal with Lohman’s excessive neediness during the process.
