Peter Parker’s a Ramones fan? Just when I thought I couldn’t love him any more. Andrew Garfield appears in the latest promo still for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man, and he’s rocking an old-school Ramones t-shirt. (Notice “Dee Dee” instead of “C.J.” on the bottom of the shirt … nice attention to detail, costume designers!) And in the second image posted online today, we see a different shot of blonde Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy. We have them below and head over to ComingSoon.net to see them full-size:





Parker looks pained, like he sees something that needs Spidey’s attention, and he’s about to rip off his Abercrombie jacket and dive into action. Stacy, meanwhile, perches under an umbrella in an alternate photo from a scene we saw in earlier set photos. It’s rainy, and it appears to be a funeral scene, so start your guesses. Is it Uncle Ben’s funeral? Do they hold a ceremony for Peter’s mother and father, who reportedly play a larger role in Webb’s Spider-Man reboot?

We don’t know yet. What we do know is that we still don’t have an official still of The Lizard. Are we certain that Dr. Curt Connors is even in this thing? Has that been confirmed? I’m kidding, but really, Sony, it’s time to pull back the curtain on Spider-Man’s anticipated, scaly foe. We want to see if he’s going to be wearing purple pants and a white lab coat, like we hope. The Amazing Spider-Man opens everywhere on July 3.
