Angelina Jolie Has A Reason To Return For Wanted 2

Angelina has been talking, almost since the first movie debuted, about her desire to return for the sequel to Wanted. Normally bringing back an a willing star of her caliber would be a no-brainer, but the first movie left her in a rather permanently disabled condition. But she’s Angelina Jolie and so, as you’d expect, they’ve come up with an excuse to work her into Wanted 2.

Wanted director Timur Bekmanbetov tells MTV, “If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it's still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head.” So it sounds like they have the hows of her resurrection figured out, even though there was no indication at all in the first film that the aforementioned super-wax could heal anything that drastic. Still, ok, I’m willing to go with it.

They also needed a reason to bring her back though, and of that Timur says, “But there has to be a reason for her to come back... and we know the reason.” Presumably he means that they’ve found a reason for her character to play a part in the story. I have one. She’s super hot and she’s Angelina Jolie. There. Done. Bring her back!
