Anna Faris is lining up a new project. We’ve learned from friends involved in the production that she’s being courted for a new horror/comedy called Burn Off.
The movie is about Peter Hansen, a fitness obsessed man whose once thin wife has gotten fat. To help them both achieve the perfect weight, he begins using a diet drink called “Burn Off” which doesn’t work as advertised. The user loses weight, but also his mind. The drink turns Peter into a sadistic murderer who keeps his wife a locked in the basement. No confirmation on what part Anna would play, but it seems likely that she’ll end up imprisoned downstairs.
At one point Larry Cohen was to direct, but we hear that they’re hoping to get Rob Zombie to helm it. He’s never done comedy before, but the man has a rapidly growing reputation as a horror director with a psychotic edge. Can he be funny? We may find out.
If they’re able to get Faris as their lead, she’ll join a cast already composed of Tony Todd, Elizabeth Berkley, and Jason Mewes. Robert A Trezza, Mark Daponte wrote the script, and they're planning a $25 million shoot in Mexico once they get everything locked in.

You sound like some wanna-be douchebag producer, who in reality, is more like a "poser". If you're going to be posting so-called "facts" on this website, learn how to spell and put together sentences that make sense. You say you "heard" from the producers of this so-called "Telepathy Films" when in your previous post you state you ARE a producer from "Telepathy Films." WTF? Lay-off the drugs kid and stop skipping school.

I hope Anna Faris gets the main role because I think she's a beautiful and very talented actress although lately she hasn't impressed me one bit. Scary Movie 3 & 4 were complete disasters as far as I'm concerned and she played a funny play boy girl in the house bunny but to me the jokes got a little old and annoying.
I also think it would be really funny to see her play an over weight wife. The plot seems good and it seems like the movie could be really funny. All it needs is some good laughs, old school horror and good music and this movie will be great.
I love Rob Zombie as a director and theres no doubt in my mind that he can pull off a horror comedy. He's a very tallented artist.
It's got a great cast lined up and I believe this movie could be good. I'll look forward to it.
Are you KIDDING me? Rob is Hillarious! Just watch his first movie, House of 1000 Corpses, to catch some of his off-kilter humor. That movie is more of a comedy than anything else ("I'm the one who has the Christmas candy! I'm the one who gives the devil is Brandy..." and so on)
