They’re making a Yogi Bear movie and they’ve cast someone to star in it. You’re probably wondering who will play Ranger Smith, right? I have no idea, because EW says the movie will star Anna Faris as Rachel, a nature documentarian filming Yogi and Boo-Boo.

Whether this means they’re dropping Ranger Smith so Anna Faris can juggle her implants and mug for the camera or that he's simply been shifted to a more minor place in the classic Jellystone Park story remains to be seen.

Luckily, it’s not all bad news on the set of Yogi. They’ve also cast Dan Aykroyd to voice the film’s CGI Yogi Bear and the multi-talented Justin Timberlake to voice Boo-Boo. I have no idea what Justin will do with the diminutive bear character (Teddy bear break-dance?)but Aykroyd’s so perfect for Yogi it hurts. I can’t wait to hear him say, “Pic-i-nic basket!”
