Judd Apatow’s star-making streak continues. The 40 Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up director has a thing for making big stars out of his actor, and now he’s done it for Kat Dennings and Michael Cera.

Cera you probably know without thinking about it. He was a Bluth on Arrested Development and he co-starred in Superbad. Now the guy’s got big projects beating down his door, and one of those which he’s latching onto is Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Denning is set to co-star, and so you know who the heck she is, think 40 Year-Old Virgin. She plays the daughter of Andy’s girlfriend, the one he takes to Planet Parenthood for lessons on not getting pregnant.

Nick and Norah casts Cera and Denning as two broken-hearted teenagers who fall in love after a night in New York spent searching for their favorite band’s unannounced show. Romance and band groupies usually go well together and so do former Apatow actors. I can’t wait to see this one.
