Judd Apatow has his actors' backs. Next year he'll turn 40 Year-Old Virgin alum Seth Rogen into a major star by giving him the lead role in Apatow's new movie Knocked Up. Now according to The Hollywood Reporter he's doing the same for Jonah Hill.
Hill is the guy in Virgin who wanted to buy boots. He's gotten a few bigger roles since then, most recently in the Justin Long comedy Accepted where he implored audiences to ask him about his wiener. But Apatow's giving him his big break. He's bought a pitch from Hill for a movie called The Middle Child. Hill is writing it, and is currently set to star.
The movie will be about a young man (Hill) who finds out his parents gave up one of his siblings for adoption before he was born. The lost kid returns and becomes the son his parents have always wanted, making Hill's character the middle child and family outcast.
