It’s no joke, the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie we told you about here is really happening, and now Variety says it has a release date.
First Look Pictures will send it out in theaters this March with a respectable 800 screen initial run. The movie will be a brisk 86-minutes, which is probably for the best. How much movie can you really get from superhero food?
The film is a spin-off of the popular Cartoon Network series of the same name. The movie will tell the origins of Hunger Force team members Meatwad, Frylock, and Master Shake while they save the world from an immortal piece of exercise equipment. Show co-creator Dave Willis says, “It's based on our fear of exercise equipment.”
