In the same bizarre way in which people can’t seem to get it through their heads that Shatner won’t be in Star Trek, the rumor mill refuses to give up on placing Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator Salvation, even though we’ve all been told over and over again by everyone involved in it that he’s not a part of it.

The latest batch of silly Schwarzenegger in Terminator rumors is based on the picture to your right (which comes from here), in which Christian Bale has been photographed actually standing in somewhat close proximity to Arnold, at some rich, snooty, country-club. Obviously, this must mean they’re talking about Arnie being in Terminator Salvation, right? Sort of, or at least that’s what the guys over at Latino Review are claiming.

Their source says the photo is proof that Arnold’s face will be digitally super-imposed onto the body of Roland Kickinger, the guy who back in July claimed he had been hired to play a Arnold’s T-800 robot from the original Terminator movie. I don’t know if the photo is very good proof of anything, but since we know Kickinger is playing some sort of Arnold variation in the movie it’s not much of a stretch to think they might engage in some digital wizardry to make him look more like the T-800 we already know and love.

Total side note on that Arnold/Bale picture above. Take a minute to count the number of hot women just sort of hovering around them. So that’s what it’s like to be famous. Huh. I knew it.
