Ask Transformer Writers Your Questions![]()
Paramount hasn’t hidden their disdain for the internet when it comes to next summer’s expected blockbuster release Transformers. The second set spies and fans can manage to get an image online along come the lawyers with requests to take those images down. Even material Director Michael Bay has linked to has mysteriously disappeared within hours sometimes. The result is a void of Transformer’s information, along with a little bit of negative feedback against the studio.
To help fill that void (and possibly to help enhance their image as a more web-friendly company), Paramount is putting the script writers for Transformers online. Tomorrow, Friday, August 18th, Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci will chat with fans live, appearing on video via Yahoo. Not only will they answer questions from the fans but they will finally reveal what Transformer characters will be in the movie. Until now only placeholder names have been used in the scripts, based on the few pages that have leaked out here and there, so fans have been speculating for a long time about who beyond Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and a few other major characters will actually be in the movie. Tomorrow that news will be revealed, and there will be much celebrating and complaining, as is inherent with that kind of community online. Fans can submit questions for Kurtzman and Orci to answer via the official Transformers webpage or by mailing questions to questions@transformersmovie.com. The actual video chat can be found at Yahoo on Friday, August 18th at 11pm Pacific Time (2pm Eastern). |
