Mark this day, everyone! It's exactly one month until Avatar opens worldwide, ending both James Cameron's endless absence from filmmaking as well the endless marketing hype that's gone along with it. Of course, there's still plenty of hype left to go, and a few bits of Avatar news are only serving the fuel the fire. First there's a French poster for the film, snagged by Slashfilm, which is smart enough to include Sam Worthington's real human face along with one of the Na'vi. I guess they don't take so well to blue cat people in France?
There's also a bit of news on the soundtrack front-- The Playlist got their hands on the track list for James Horner's score for the film, and as often happens with movies, the plot is all there in the titles. I mean, it's not all there-- no major deaths are spoiled, and it doesn't end with a track called "And Pandora Was Given Back To The Na'vi And Jake Got His Legs Back And All Was Well." But it comes pretty close. The track listing is below, but stay away if you're particularly spoiler averse.
