Today at noon Pacific Time, tickets for the much-hyped Avatar Day go on sale, providing you a chance to jostle into a theater with hundreds of others to catch about 15 minutes of footage from James Cameron's long-awaited space epic.But if you're more of the hermit type, and can settle for less footage on a smaller screen, you'll have the option of seeing footage even sooner. Apple.com has placed a countdown on the front of their trailers page, proclaiming that the Avatar trailer will hit at 7 a.m. EST on Wednesday morning. Obviously the trailer won't be in 3D, which is one of the major Avatar selling points, but my guess is that it will be enough to make all those people without Avatar Day tickets kick themselves for staying home. We'll have the Avatar trailer posted on the site hopefully as soon as Apple gets it up, so check back here next Wednesday morning for a trip to the planet of Pandora.
