A few months ago I suggested that Fox could rescue Wolverine's box office performance by adding a trailer for Avatar in front of the film. Of course, they didn't take my advice, and Wolverine didn't need the help anyway.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen won't need help at the box office either, but it's going to get it-- Market Saw is reporting that the trailer for Avatar will run in front of Michael Bay's latest giant robot spectacular. Avatar, of course, is the next film from James Cameron, shot in 3D and in motion capture and called by Steven Soderbergh the "craziest shit ever." You know you are dying to see it, and on the off chance you're exclusively interested in fighting robots, you'll be dying to see it anyway once you catch the trailer before Transformers 2 in about a month. Start the countdown!
