On August 27th Avatar returns to theaters for a special edition re-release, promising 8 minutes of new footage and promising to take more of your money. If you don’t believe that it’ll be number one at the box office all over again, then you obviously haven’t seen any of the really creepy cosplay fan sites I have. Lucky you.

But Avatar is on its way back to theaters and that means it’s time to start promoting it all over again. Fox has released a new trailer promotion the Avatar: Special Edition. It’ll give you a tiny taste of some of that new footage (though no sign of the sex scene yet, just a little foreplay) and does a brilliant job of reminding you of just how bright and vibrant James Cameron’s 3D world was in all of its best moments.
