Avengers Poster Art Debuts In Las Vegas

By Katey Rich: 2009-06-02 15:40:30
Over at the Licensing Show going on in Las Vegas right now, a handful of studios are debuting artwork and posters from some of their most-anticipated projects, from movies still in production to titles that haven't even been cast yet. AICN tipster Pitdoc snapped photos of some of the best stuff, including logos for the Marvel Avengers movies and gigantic posters for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Johnny Depp's Rango, Steve Carell's animated Despicable Me, and DreamWorks Animation's How to Train Your Dragon.

By far the coolest, from my standpoint, is the Scott Pilgrim poster, which eschews images of its star Michael Cera in favor of the original images from the graphic novel. You could mistake it for a cover of the graphic novel, honestly. The Avengers stuff all seems a little bland, but I've included it below as well, since I know how you geeks are.

Click on either of the images below for a link to the full AICN article and the full-size images. They're promising more where this came from, so keep checking back to see what other advertising marvels start popping up.
