Spider-Man 3 is nice and oh yeah there's a Harry Potter movie coming, but Zack Snyder's adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel 300 just rocketed past all of them to become my most eagerly anticipated movie of 2007. They've just released a new trailer for it, and it's goddamn good. The first trailer was already frickin brilliant, but this second one blows even that right out of the water. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army.
