BAMF Girls Club Video Has Hermione, Buffy, Bella And Others Moving In Together
Ever wonder what might occur when six female young adult characters are picked to live in a house to see what happens when they stop being polite and start getting real? The BAMF Girls Club webisode explores that scenario (and based on the title, a spin on Oxygen's reality series The Bad Girls Club) by humorously parodying Hermione, Katniss, Bella, Buffy, Michonne and Lisbeth as they move in with one another.
Written by Vickie Toro, directed by Emily McGregor, and posted on the Comediva YouTube channel, BAMF Girls Club (Ep. 1) has female characters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Walking Dead, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Harry Potter. Twilight and The Hunger Games moving into a house together and about as humorously as you might expect them to.
Lisbeth is introduced to us as she spouts off personal details about Hermione. Katniss, who has experience with reality shows, immediately climbs a tree in an attempt to ensure her survival, Buffy suggests fixing Hermione up with Willow ("Ron is like the new Oz. Tragic!"). Michonne comes to Bella's rescue. And Hermione later obliviates the Twilight character. It's funny, but the bigger points come from the details, like Buffy's use of the phrase "Hell Mouthy" and Lisbeth exposing Hermione's interest in Fifty Shades of Grindewald. There's also the awkward moment when they realize they're eating Jacob. Hopefully the fact that this one's titled "Ep. 1" means we'll see new installments in this amusing series sometime soon.
