Vin Diesel’s new movie Babylon A.D. has a trailer. It seems kind of good, until you realize it’s only because they’re using the really awesome music from Requiem for a Dream as the trailer’s soundtrack. It’s the kind of soundtrack that when played, instantly makes anything seem better, and I think that’s a big part of what’s going on here. It doesn’t hurt to have a little Vin Diesel narration either, his deep throaty tones are always a welcome addition. I don’t know if that means the movie’s anything worth watching though.
