Bachelorette Red Band Trailer Brings Lizzy Caplan And Adam Scott Back Together

Following up on the recently released trailer for Leslye Headland's upcoming female-focused comedy Bachelorette, comes the red band trailer, which gives us a few new looks at the film, which stars Rebel Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan as a group of old friends reunited to celebrate one of their approaching weddings. Hijynx ensues.

As red band trailers go, this one's probably on the tamer side, giving us more of an earful than an eyeful at some of the shenanigans these women get up to when things begin to fall apart during the bachelorette celebration of Rebel Wilson's character. With that said, if you're watching from the office or within earshot of children or those who might be offended by discussions about certain sexual acts, it's probably best to turn the volume down a notch. And here it is, courtesy of FunnyOrDie.com:

It's a good trailer to follow the one that was released just last month. And I have to say, I think Adam Scott may be right when he tells Lizzy Caplan he thinks they might be meant for each other... (Party Down reunion movie/TV show/webseries/anything - please?!) It'll be interesting to see how much screen time they actually share in this movie. Regardless, the taxi cab scene in the above trailer looked pretty funny.

Bachelorette is written and directed by Leslye Headland, whose limited list of credits includes her work as a staff writer on FX's short-lived Terriers. Even without the all-star cast of funny women, that in itself would be enough to draw my interest. We'll have to see how she does in directing here. And fortunately, we won't have to wait much longer. Bachelorette heads into theaters September 7 but you'll be able to rent it on iTunes on August 10.
