Bale Says He'll Do JLA Movie![]()
The only thing certain about a Justice League of America movie is that there will probably be one and it might have some superheroes in it. As we’ve noted here and here, Warner Brothers obviously wants to make the movie but the actual make-up of the League for the movie is still anyone’s guess. Will it include Superman? Batman? Both? Neither? As long as it has Flash and Hawkman then I’m there.
IGN doesn’t share my sanguine personality and decided to go to the horse’s mouth to get some answers. They asked Batman himself, Christian Bale, if he would be playing the Caped Crusader in a JLA movie. Bale’s answer was a real definite maybe. “I’ll be probably doing this in dinner theater somewhere in my 50s, so I won’t knock it. Because who knows where I’ll end up.” That’s pretty much a non-answer answer. In fact, it almost seems like Bale was answering a different question altogether. But a person who sees conspiracies everywhere might think it sounds like someone in negotiations to do something but not allowed to talk about it. He doesn’t say yes or no, doesn’t cast aspersions on the idea but doesn’t endorse it either. He just compares it to doing dinner theater in his 50s. |
