Time and time again, President Obama has proven himself to be our first geek president. He plays with lightsabers on the front lawn of the White House. He buys Star Wars books for his employee's children. He makes Superman jokes. He even finds time to hang out with Spider-Man. So, while he fights a tough battle against his Republican opponents on important issues such as health care reform, student aid and the environment, you have to wonder if he would be more interested in looking at things a tad more awesome. Enter the wonders of Photoshop.

Artist Dean Trippe has created a series of pictures with "Barack Obama Looking At Awesome Things." Even in a world where Hot Tub Time Machine exists, it's harder to make a more literal title. Most of said awesome things are from ever geeks favorite movies, from Godzilla through The Dark Knight. I don't know about you, but I feel safer knowing that our president is keeping a close eye on our dinosaur incubation chambers.
