I’m deeply excited about No Country for Old Men, the next movie from Joel and Ethan Cohen, which looks to be a return back to the quirkier flicks that really made me like the Cohen’s films. Don’t believe me? Take a look at that menacing picture of Javier Bardem wielding a shotgun below. Does that look like he’s pussy-footing around like George Clooney as a divorce attorney (the poorly-delivered Intolerable Cruelty)? No, this is serious action, more like Steve Buscemi loading people in a wood-chipper (the brilliant Fargo).
That image of Bardem is the latest image from No Country for Old Men sent over by the studio. Click on the little image to see a bigger, better version of the picture, and dream of a future that includes the Cohen Brothers kicking ass and taking names again.
