i agree with you Jordan because both of them are the best from the film. Then if they do make a third movie the joker should be in it. I think Robin will kill the movie if he was in it. I think catwomen should be in it to.

you know batman finally doing the thing that was a big concept of their relationship not killing each other batman wouldn't kill the joker for self righteous reasons, the joker beacause he was to much fun so he says i think the joker would like to corupt him more than anything to make him see thing's from his anarcist view's maybe even drive him insane.

FUNNYMAN EDDIE MURPHY will play The Riddler in the next Batman movie, The Sun can reveal.

The Beverly Hills Cop star, 47, has been signed up by British director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to reprise the role played by JIM CARREY in 1995’s Batman Forever.

The surprise move follows speculation linking Pirates of the Caribbean star JOHNNY DEPP to the part.

The film, set for a 2010 release, is being developed under the working title Gotham.

Execs have also signed up rising Transformers star SHIA LABEOUF, 22, to play Robin.

CHRISTIAN BALE will return as Bruce Wayne, while MICHAEL CAINE will again play Bruce’s assistant Alfred.

Meanwhile, Brit RACHEL WEISZ is said to be up for the Catwoman role.

Insiders also revealed to The Sun the flick will end on a cliffhanger over whether Batman survives a blast at Wayne Towers.

Nolan had been tight-lipped about the future of the Batman films after being rocked by the January death of HEATH LEDGER — tipped to receive a posthumous Oscar for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

A film insider said: “Chris wasn’t sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion.

“Eddie’s a fantastic addition. Everyone’s excited to see what he does as the Riddler.�

Robin will not be in Batman 3 because when Christian Bale signed on for Batman begins and Dark Knight he said that he will not be Batman if Robin is involved which means that if Nolan is going to introduce Robin then he will have to look for a new Batman but from my sources it looks like Christian Bale is going to play Batman in Batman 3.

Also Christopher Nolan will not do any more than 3 Batman films and warner bros are in talk about another 3 Batman films after Christopher Nolans 3rd but Nolan will not be the director.

As for Nolan being unsure about where or not to do Batman 3 he said from the begin that he would create 3 batman films. The rumour started because Nolan wanted to leave batman 3 an extra year and warner bros wouldnt let him but he will direct batman 3.

Two-Face isn't coming back he died. For everybody who is saying "oh Gordon came back to life" he never died. They are trying to make these movies the most realistic they can. They aren't bringing back the Joker (Heith Ledger is dead and they are not I repeat are not using Johnny Depp as the Joker) Johnny Depp would make a great Riddler though. Christopher Nolan said there will be no Robin, and I'm guessing that Batman will not have a sidekick. The thing with Morgan Freeman (forgot name of character in movie) hinting at a Catwoman, I think it could work and if they use Megan Fox I would be so happy or Angelina Jolie. I'm not sure if they can include Poison Ivy, but it would be amazing if they could and would. But I heard rumors that there would be a Riddler in the next movie, and if you read the comic books Catwoman wasn't actually that bad, she was actually kind-of like a Robin Hood (you know stealing from the rich and giving to the poor) and since Rachel is gone there could be a love interest there (and hope there is). And finally maybe in the fourth (if there is one, if Christopher Nolan won't bitch out and stop doing Batman) I would love to see Bane. Again if you read the comic book Bane was smart and would be a great foe for Batman.

Well considering Christian Bale has pretty much said he would refuse to do another film if they wanted to include Robin, and I can't really see them re-casting Batman this late in a possible trilogy, I sincerely doubt we'll be seeing that annoying little berk on the big screen again any time soon.

how does anyone feel about Holiday or Hangman being a character in the new Batman? they're both very, very dark characters that could easily be incorporated into nolan's dark take on the Batman series.

robin is a bad idea, the previous series went downhill as soon as robin was introduced, i went childish, catwomen would be good,

I heard recently that Phillip Seymor Hoffman could be cast as the Penguin and Johnny Depp as the Riddler...
personally I think Depp could own this role!!
If the Riddler is done right, he'll be a completely different kind of crazy and just think of the insane mind games he could play..
Joker scares the hell out of you because he physically wants to hurt you(and does)...,but the Riddler gets into your head...think about it

Ok, so I don't know how you all feel. I really hope that Catwoman comes into the picture. It would be perfect timing with the death of Batman's love intrest. But I agree NO ROBBIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they should recast joker heath did a great job but comon theres a story to be told here and if the story works best with joker and a yung boy wonder that actually a teen and not a 20 some year old then its all good they should also bring harly quinn if they use the joker this could be the last chance she gets to make it in a film

from what i understand robin in the novel at one point was a 16 year old girl, that would be interesting. i personally feel that since rachel is dead there is nothing keeping bruce from fully committing to Batman, which is what batman is about THAT struggle. with that in ind there needs to be a love interest, something for bruce to struggle with. of course the only poss. love interest would be selina kyle/ catwoman, who could really turn out great with nolan's imagination and the perfect actress. most either agree or disagree, i would like a riddler/catwoman or black mask/catwoman combo

i don't mind robin being in it, Two Face most likely will not be coming back. The most obvious villans and those who would make sense are Riddler (sent as a detective to find out who batman is, but secretly is obsessed with the whole batman story goes mad then becomes the riddler.) Black Mask (low life gang member with his mind set on killing batman and bringing Gotham to its knees so he dawns the mask and builds his army of thugs) and of course Penguin (could be the guy who bruce saved in his car in the movie TDK, and Joker sends one of his thugs to deal with him for betraying him, messes up his nose and sends him out on the streets, then blaming Batman for it all becomes the penguin) Those are the people who would make the most sense any other villan in the movie would be stupid. Thats my thoughts take them or leave them

None of this is true at all. Nolan has confirmed that Two Face is dead at the end of The Dark Knight and has suggested in interviews that he may not return to the franchise because third movies are rarely any good. There is certainly no script therefore, as Chris and Jon Nolan are the writers. Make no mistake, there is gonna be a third movie but without Nolan, chances are it'll be complete dogshit. They'll probably have to re-cast it cos I don't reckon Bale will be back in a Nolan-less movie, I'm pretty sure he said that in an interview a while back. Fingers crossed though, Warner Brothers will be offering Nolan a shitload of money to try and woo him back.

johnny depp is gonna play a great Riddler. Jim Carrey was more about the comedy but i think the Riddler should be more of a creepy guy which JOhnny Depp can more than pull off. The part about the JOker [rip heath ledger] ...Ledger was Phenomenol hsi performance was so good that it would be hard for him to establish any other character in any other movie. I think they should def. include the Joker in the third Batman but they're gonna have to look really hard for someone as good as Ledger...maybe Hugh Jackman...he looks the part but we'll see.

I think that should have Johnny Depp play both the riddler and the joker. Joker should have Harley Quinn do his dangerous deeds while he is in the asslyum. Jokerś cell mate should be scarecrow. While Harley Quinn is doing those dangerous deeds, she should have posin Ivy help her because she was also known to work with her. One dangerous deed they could do is affect Eward Nigma and make him the riddler. Then the 2 girl villans could try to kill riddler for copping the joker and say that heś posin Ivyś prfessor that made her the way she is. Riddler and posin Ivy should die and Harley Quinn should go to jail. Then Christophere Nolan should team up with the writer of Superman returns and make a batman and superman movie which I know there was a cartoon version. I know how they could begin it, like they did with the dark knight with joker people robbing a bank, but ionstead they rob the luther mansion. They should film a prequal and a sequal for superman returns at the same time. Kill of Loisś son and husband, have her find out superman´s secret and have luther turn into a good guy. In the batman and superman movie, joker could try to take over the fortress of solitude. Use both locations of gotham and metropolis and superman going after batman because he is a fugitive for being two-faceś scapegoat. Yes recast the joker. Oldman(actor who played gordan) thinks that heath would want another actor to do the job and you don´t spend 2 years filming with someone and not know something like that. Heath did other movies. Heĺl still be remebered for other movies. Two-face is dead peoples and he did not survive the fall.

Recast the joker because he said that to batman that theyŕe destined to do this forever. You don´t say that unless the villain is in the last movie or itś the last movie in the movie series which it´s not. Oldman(actor who played gordan) said that he thinks heath would want another actor. You don´t spend 2 or 3 years working with someone and not knowing something like that. Heath did other movies too. This won´t be the only movie he´s remembered for. No 2-face. He is dead. He wasn´t wearing a special suit when he fell like batman was. If 2-face survived. Batman can´t be his scapegoat, than everyone will know that 2-face did it when he tells everyone that he did it and batman being a fugitive will be interesting in batman 3.

i just think that the penguin done in nolen's dark version of batman wuld be fantastic, it culd be done.

no....robin id rather see nightwing come into this ......but as in number we see batman being chased from the police force, i reckon we should nightwing start to hunt batman.

Batman.. sadly without Heath Ledger (who was fantastic joker and possibly ireplaceable after making the part his own) Noooooo Robin (please ) as I prefer the new-improved-adult versions of thit series ! and maybe a few new contemporary baddies that are less campy than the old ones ! Unless they can create as great and dark and contemporary a joker as Heath/Nolan did ?

I think Johnny Depp is a good actor, and plays dark chacters well. But joker is not only dark but twisted and mad. Johhnny Depp plays only fun dark chacters well. He would not be good to caste for Joker. Personally no one is to me. But if they were to irrplace joker with someone else , they'll have to be amazing. I hope instead of joker they put a new chacter in Batman 3. Better for the movie and catse. I wonder if batman has new love, who well play her?

Depp as the Joker? pfffffffffffffffffffffttttttttttt. What do you get when you dress Johnny Depp up in a Purple Suit with make-up? Captain Jack Sparrow in a Purple Suit. No thanks to Depp being the Joker. Now Depp as The Riddler would be a better choice. Or Depp as Clayface would be cool. Depp is a good looking guy, Clayface was once a good looking guy who was an actor. some shit happens, and poof he's clayface.

Please don't cast Johnny Depp as the Joker. Everytime i see Johnny Depp, im ether looking for Arnie to come out screaming "Haha Gilbert! HAHA!" Or Willy Wonka or Jack Sparrow from the overratted Butt-Pirates of the Carribean Trilogy.

Personally, I think that the stage would be set for Harley Quinn a.k.a. Dr. Harleen Quinzel who treats the Joker in Arkham Asylum....with Heath's passing, they don't have to show the Joker, but have her mention his progress in her treatments, etc. I think she is a really good character and could be very dark to blend in with the darker Gotham that Nolan has provided us with. She is one of my favorite villians, and is as dangerous as the Joker himself because she does his bidding for him...due to her infatuation with him. Just a thought =]
