I would bet that 90% of Hollywood hates George Bush and they were against the war. However, the studios know where money can be made; war movies! And if you can get in a few digs at Dubya, they’ll certainly make it! World renowned graphic artist, Matt Sinopoli sent in this story about The Battle for Fallujah starring Harrison Ford.

The Battle for Fallujah was written by Bing West, a former Marine, a former assistant to the Secretary of Defense and currently serving as a foreign correspondent. Universal owned Double Features optioned the book and plan on releasing the first movie about the current Gulf War in late 2005.

Variety reports the movie will be based on the following events: “After four Americans were mutilated and hanged in Fallujah, the White House ordered an assault on the insurgent stronghold to be led by Gen. Jim Mattis (to be played by Ford). Marine forces devastated the opposition and were 48 hours away from taking control of Fallujah when the White House abruptly ordered them to stop. The Marines lost 28 soldiers the first time around and added another 50 fatalities after the White House ordered them to go back and finish the job six months later.” If this follows the foundation set by Black Hawk Down, count on me watching this one!

I wonder if this pushes back any chance for Indiana Jones IV? One can only hope!
Blah blah blah in The CB Forum.
