Like it or not, the biggest movie of the latter half of this year has already been pre-ordained. Unless James Cameron surprises the world with Avatar 2 or the Federal government starts handing out free pot for all shortly before the release of A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas, it will be The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Responding to that certainty, Entertainment Weekly will put the movie on the cover of its fall preview when it hits shelves.

Personally I’m rooting for The Muppets to be the must see movie of the fall… among people who don’t care about Twilight. I know that hoping for anything else is a lost cause. It would have been great to see a big pile of furry Jim Henson creatures on that cover instead of a soaking wet girl and her soggy vampire husband.
