Have you seen the trailer for Ben Stiller’s next movie Tropic Thunder? It looks like the best thing he’s done since The Ben Stiller Show, and I’m not just saying that because they sent me a free hat. My loyalty cannot be bought… for the price of a ballcap. A Tropic Thunder promotional Audi on the other hand, and I might start to cave. Why lie about it. That’s my price. Free luxury automobiles. Back the truck up Hollywood.

So maybe Ben’s on a roll here, which gives me hope for his other upcoming projects as well. For instance HR says he’s working on a movie called The Return of King Doug which has some potential. It sounds a little like Hook crossed with The Chronicles of Narnia. Stiller, if he ends up starring in it, would play a guy who returns to the fantasy world he abandoned 30 years earlier.

Actually, it’s exactly like Hook. I love Hook. Bring on the redo.
