It’s funny. For all the talk about how Disney was going to change after the merger with Pixar, things are starting to shake out to be business as usual for the house of the mouse. The crummy direct-to-DVD movies they were doing before are still happening. We’ll be drowning in Tinkerbell DVDs soon. And the suspect live-action movies they were making, appear to be continuing unabated.
Case in point, the first trailer for Beverly Hills Chihuaha, which is below. It’s dancing, computer generated dogs with hilarious ethnic accents. It’s exactly the sort of film we’ve come to expect from Disney over the past couple of decades. You’ll see what I mean. Just watch the trailer:
