I’m going to get something off my chest right away: I’m a pretty hateful person. I dislike children. I despise the St. Louis Cardinals, but most of all, I hate people jerking off to Dane Cook like he’s the next Richard Pryor. He isn’t. Keep in mind this is also the asshole who convinced half of the American males between the ages of twelve and twenty that the shocker was appropriate for every picture. Still, I must admit, even with all this welling bitterness, Dane Cook’s new movie looks damn funny on paper.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Biggs (American Pie) and Lizzy Caplan (1-18-08) have joined the highly anticipated Bachelor Number 2 project. Along with Dane Cook and the new editions, the film stars Kate Hudson and Alec Baldwin. Hudson plays the girlfriend of Jason Biggs who unceremoniously dumps him. The Loser star then turns to his buddy Cook to take Hudson out on such a horrifyingly bad date that she returns to him. How deliciously high school!

I normally would advise you against seeing anything that Dane Cook is involved in; however, I think my love for manipulating women is actually stronger than my ire for the overbearing comedian. That probably makes me a bad person, but I’m not going to lose any sleep over it. Look for Bachelor Number 2 in one of your local theaters sometime late next year.
