Bill Murray Doesn't Want To Do Ghostbusters 3, Sounds Mean![]()
The fact that Bill Murray may potentially be involved, in any way shape or form, with a third Ghostbusters movie still seems like a bit of a dream. This guy’s moved on to bigger and better things at this point. He’s a relic of the comedy world, free to star in as many Wes Anderson movies as he wants.
Well, it just may have been a dream after all. According to Digital Spy, Bill Murray did his best to talk down the screaming fanboys from their premature excitement. “Well, I don't want to do it yet. There's still no script, it's just a bunch of talk. It's just a wish list for someone. Until there is a really good script, I'll stay home. It has to be a serious script before I leave the house,” Murray Said. He continued, “I'll believe it when I see it. I saw a guy talking about the end of the world a couple of years ago, and I haven't seen that either.” Maybe his tone was funnier in the interview and doesn’t translate to copy all that well, or maybe this reads exactly as it was said: kind of cynical and mean. This doesn’t sound like the kind of guy I’d want to make a fun reunion sequel with at all. He’s going to kill the party! But then again, maybe this means that Murray will be the quality control dude, making sure that Ghostbusters blasphemy doesn’t occur. Update! Thanks to our commenters, we've dug up the original interview on YouTube. Watch it below! |
