Bon Jovi, Seth Meyers And Til Schweiger To Party On New Year's Eve
Growing up in New Jersey, I learned how to love Bruce Springsteen and mildly appreciate Jon Bon Jovi. While I can't see anything ever threatening the legacy of The Boss, I'm not so sure I can say the same thing for John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.
THR reports that Bon Jovi, as well as Seth Meyers and Til Schweiger have joined the cast of New Year's Eve, Garry Marshall's sequel-in-theory to last year's hit Valentine's Day. Also starring the likes of Robert De Niro, Hilary Swank, Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Biel, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, and Sarah Jessica Parker, the movie follows multiple story arcs that all take place in New York on the night of December 31. In the film, Bon Jovi will play a rock star who previously had a relationship with Berry; and Meyers plays the down-and-out husband of Biel who wants her to give birth to the first baby of the new year so that he can win $25,000.
You may have noticed that there is no character description for Til Schweiger's character, but that's because it's a spoiler that I happen to know about. Schweiger is, in fact, once again playing the role of Hugo Stiglitz from Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and discovers that all of the above mentioned characters are Nazis. Needless to say, he handles it much like Hugo Stiglitz would. Upon hearing that bit of news, I must say that it has gotten me much more excited for the film.
