With the weekend box office flop of Aeon Flux and the lingering, inescapable image of her vomitous ugliness in Monster still scarring men's brains, Charlize Theron's career could use a little sexing up. The best way to do that? Have sex with James Bond!

Generally unreliable British Tabloid "Daily Mirror" says South Africa's greatest natural resource has been offered a cash rich deal to star opposite Daniel Craig in Casino Royale as the newest Bond girl. Following in the recent footsteps of people like Denise Richards, Halle Berry, and Teri Hatcher, if she actually commits Theron will be the first Bond girl since Famke Janssen who can actually act. Not that acting skills really matter, as long as she can fill out a bikini.

The Mirror claims she was director Martin Campbell's first choice for the part. I guess he isn't bothered by her unnaturally broad shoulders.
