Bootleg Trailer For The Expendables Hits The Web
The only thing in this video that isn’t grainy is the one element of this film we haven’t stopped hearing about, the huge cast. Sadly, the first trailer of The Expendables to hit the Internet comes in the typical grainy bootleg quality, but at least it’s something.
There are zero surprises in the trailer. There is a ton of gunfire and explosions; exactly what you would expect from Sylvester Stallone’s attempt to bring back the good old days of action films before the invasion of CGI. What we don’t get to see is the entire cast, but when that list includes so many big names like Stallone, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brittany Murphy, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis and more, what do you expect? It isn’t an issue of clarity when it comes to The Expendables. It doesn’t matter if you watch this bootleg trailer or one in HD; you’re still getting the same stuff, muscles, combat and fiery blasts. As we get closer to the film’s August 20th, 2010 release and more material is released, we’ll get a better idea of whether or not this film will live up to the hype.
