Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie May Reunite In Aronofsky's The Tiger![]()
When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt aren't busy being beautiful and collecting the world's supply of babies, they occupationally decide to be in a movie or two. Though they first met on the set of Doug Liman's Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, they haven't appeared in a movie together since. Until, perhaps, now.
Speaking with Spanish website Quien (translated into English), screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga has suggested that the two A-listers may team up again for Darren Aronofsky's The Tiger, which Pitt is already attached to. Based on the non-fiction book by John Vaillant, the film will center on an animal activist in Siberia who must protect a town from a wild tiger that has been attacking them. In regard to Jolie's casting, Arriaga says that they are now finalizing the deal. Pitt was originally meant to star in The Fountain before things fell through, and there's always a chance this could suffer a similar fate (especially since Aronofsky has Wolverine 2). Say what you will about the Liman action film, but it's impossible to deny the chemistry that existed between Pitt and Jolie. If Aronofsky is indeed bringing both of them on-board, let's hope that he does it right. |
