It's been rumored for months that the final chapter of the Twilight saga, the gory and graphic Breaking Dawn, would be broken into two films, not only because it's massive but because, hey, that's twice the money! Now Deadline Hollywood is confirming it; Summit is looking for "high-end" directors to tackle the two-part film, which will start filming in October.

The movies would film back-to-back, much as they're currently doing with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, a move that will both save time and allow the movies to come out as close together or as far apart as the studio likes. Prepare for lots more reporting and promotion on this as casting begins, like a grand finale for Twilight mania before we're all allowed to forget it ever happened.
