Breaking Dawn Will Start Filming This Fall In Vancouver and Baton Rouge![]()
With Twilight: Eclipse now in theaters, there remains only one story left to be told: Breaking Dawn. While we've heard updates from the film, such as the fact that they are cutting out the more graphic elements and that the stars are making a hell of a lot of money to be in the film, there has been no formal announcement as to when the final installments would begin production. Now, while there is still no exact date for the start of production, we at least know where they will be filming.
A press release has been sent out by Summit Entertainment announcing that production of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will begin filming this fall in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver, Canada with a target release date for the first film on November 18, 2011. All of the films principals are set to return and writer Melissa Rosenberg is currently working on the script. Both Vancouver and Louisiana are two locations prime for movie making thanks to tax breaks given to productions. The film will be the first in the series to film in Baton Rouge, the first three movies all filmed in either Oregon, Washington or various locations in Canada. |
