It's one thing when a spoiled Hollywood actor storms off a set, to be replaced with some slightly-less-famous actor who looks basically the same. But it's another thing when it's the director who walks out, and Bruce Willis is learning, much to his misery, just how different a situation that is.
The production company Foresight Unlimited is suing Willis for walking away from a deal to direct Three Stories About Joan, a drama that would have starred Owen Wilson and Camilla Belle. The lawsuit, as reported by TMZ, complained "Willis abruptly and without notice terminated his services as director for personal reasons and walked off the set."
Even though Willis was supposed to be paid just $196,404 to direct the film (yeah, that's considered to be not much money), the company is suing him for $4 million in damages. Willis's lawyer says the suit is "absurd," and presumably the legal system will take care of sorting out the rest.
