Bruce Willis To Star In The Tomb![]()
When Bruce Willis catches on to an idea, rest assured, he’ll keep going back for more and more. He's spent a good part of the last twenty years fighting off one terrorist after another, and now he’s turned his attention to prisons. According to Deadline, Bruce Willis is in talks on to star in The Tomb, an action drama about a prison escape. Anthony Fuqua (Brooklyn’s Finest) may direct the story of a high-security analyst, prison designer and escape artist (Willis) who finds himself trapped in--da-da-da-da--a prison! He’s been wrongly accused of a crime and put behind bars. I assume he was arrested on charges of being overly ironic.
The film, on a fast track, was written by Miles Chapman (umm, Roadhouse 2: Last Call) and rewritten by Jason Keller (who surprisingly has even less of a resume than Chapman). Robbie Brenner and Mark Canton are producing. In addition to The Tomb, Willis is signed on to star in the video game adaptation Kane and Lynch in which he plays a death row inmate who, you guessed it, escapes from prison. Willis will also be part of the ode to the 80’s and 90’s action drama, The Expendables, which comes out this August and stars a bevy of action movie mainstays. He is also signed on to star in Catch .44 and Kane and Lynch. |
