MOVIE NEWS
Bugging Out![]()
It's no secret that kids aren't always kind to animals. They're not sociopathic by nature, but they just don't know any better (or so I choose to believe). Some animals will snap back and rip off their aggressive hands, but other creatures are generally defenseless. Like ants, for example.
According to Latino Review, the upcoming animated film Ant Bully will teach kids to kindly keep their hands to themselves. The movie, based on a book by John Nickle, is about a young boy who gets his kicks by sinking an ant colony with a water gun. The joke turns on him when he gets shrunken down to insect size and sentenced to work in the remains of the fallen colony. Before he can return to his natural size, he learns of the selfless nature of ants, and finds a new hobby outside of insect homocide. The Ant Bully features the voices of Jake T. Austin, Nicolas Cage, and Paul Giamatti. The film hits theaters on August 4th, 2006. To visit the Russian website Kino-Govno and view some exclusive clips, click here. |
