MOVIE NEWS
Buzz in the Willows When they're not out stealing classic characters from Pixar to squeeze money out of and then cast aside once everyone is sick of them, Disney is busy rifling through their own library, looking for movies to remake with CGI as they jump on the Dreamworks/Pixar bandwagon.
I'd like to take a moment here to apologize for ever defending Disney. Sorry. Their latest idea has them making a live action/CGI version of The Wind in the Willows. They already did a short animated film version of it back in 1949, but this version will be based on the Kenneth Grahame book about the adventures of Mole, Badger, Mr. Toad, and Buzz Lightyear. Well maybe not Buzz, but Disney could do that if they wanted to. Let that simmer awhile and you'll be as annoyed as I am. Mark Friedman has been tapped to write the thing for Producers Neal Moritz and Amanda Cohen. ![]() Want me to shut up about Pixar? . SUBMIT A SCOOP |
