Tony Scott and Denzel Washington have apparently developed an affinity for trains. Next weekend they have The Taking of Pelham 123 hitting theaters and they’re already knee-deep in planning another train movie together called Unstoppable.
The film stars Washington as an experienced train engineer on the verge of being laid off and replaced by a new conductor. HR says Star Trek’s Captain Kirk Chris Pine has been hired to play the newbie replacement. Together, both engineers will race against time to stop an unmanned, out of control freight train carrying explosives and poison gas. Shouldn’t this star Steven Seagal?
