Steve Carell is no longer just the funniest man on the screen, he's soon to be the busiest. If the guy packs anymore projects on his plate we'll be playing the six degrees of Brick Tamland.

Steve's playlist for 2006 includes the creepy kiddy beauty pageant comedy Little Miss Sunshine, voice over work for the animated comic strip movie Over The Hedge, playing god in superfilous sequel Evan Almighty, and bumbling secret agent Maxwell in yet another TV adaptation Get Smart. Of course, the last thing we need is another television movie, but if anyone should play Smart it's Carell.

Now Steve's moving into the 2007 calendar year. Since he's already tackled the realm of unconquered middle aged virginity, he's ready to take on the world of middle aged hormone replacement therapy with High T.

Empire Online spoke to Carell about the project. "High T is a very funny concept, about a guy who – due to an accident – loses all the testosterone in his body." Carell said. I'm afraid to ask what kind of accident robs a man of all his male hormones.

Carell continued, "So he has to take testosterone injections, which make him extremely aggressive for two days, then for two days he's normalised, then for the next three days or so he becomes extremely soft and sensitive and likes to bake quiche." I hear our forum administrator Stuart Wood likes to make quiche too. Maybe he knows something about hormone draining accidents.

Expounding on the plot, Steve said "It's sort of a Jekyll and Hyde story, about how he falls in love with this woman and needs to figure out how to manage all of his mood swings within that." Sounds like the ultimate chick flick for guys. I'm not sure I'm ready for that.
