The other day I mocked the very concept of the Sorority Row remake at Summit Entertainment, given that it's daring to cast a Hills star as if she were a legitimate actress. But now the movie has taken a hold of an actress who's not only legitimate, but up for an Emmy this season. Can anyone stop this madness?

< Carrie Fisher, who was hilarious in her guest stint on 30 Rock, may now sign on to the horror remake, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She would, of course, be the house mother of the sorority girls who start getting killed off after they cover up a murder. The Reporter article also suggests that the Hills star in question, Audrina Partridge, would be one of the sisters who gets killed, which at least adds some hope to this whole mess. What is there to say but, Carrie, you're better than this? Go back to hanging out with Tina Fey and figure out a better way to make a paycheck.
