Disney and Pixar's next collaboration Cars is just eleven weeks away, and the folks at Walt's place are counting it down with a countdown poster and a new wallpaper featuring the classy looking character Doc Hudson.

Once the movie finally gets here on May 26th, they'll embrace the film's redneck roots by debuting it at a speedway, the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Appropriate I guess since this is a movie about car racing and trailer trash hero Larry the Cable Guy is doing one of the cars voices. His character is the one that beats you down with "Git-R-Done!" in some of the trailers.

But on the other hand, marketing to the NASCAR, redneck set didn't seem to do much for Larry's own movie, which debuted at number seven this past weekend. Maybe they should back off the whole hillbilly connection just a little bit.
