The teaser for Woody Allen’s new thriller Cassandra’s Dream just landed on my desk. I, naturally, popped it into the DVD player within moments. Before I bombard you with my opinion, I think I should preface it with the following: I’m a Woody Allen fanboy. The acclaimed director could shit on his Asian wife’s chest for an hour and a half, and I’d give it a thumbs up. So, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to hear I love every moment of this trailer.
Cassandra’s Dream follows the plight of two brothers, one of which has incurred a boat load of gambling debts. The pair seek out help from their shady looking uncle, and at some point, all hell breaks lose. I can’t wait. Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor play the protagonist siblings with Woody Allen taking a seat in his normal director’s chair. Here’s a look at the future hit...
