Channing Tatum Protects And Serves In Exclusive Son Of No One Clip
Reuniting with director Dito Montiel for the third time in his career, Channing Tatum stars in The Son of No One, playing a New York City cop who past comes back to haunt him when an old case gets re-opened and leads directly to his childhood in a rough neighborhood. All he wants to do is his job and protect his family, but both start to be threatened as the case unravels and digs up some memories he'd rather forget. The movie premiered at Sundance in January and opens in limited release this weekend, and for a sneak peek at what you can expect, we've got an exclusive clip from the film that you can watch below. See what happens when a suspect is brought into the police station and the stakes get even higher very, very fast.
You might have noticed Ray Liotta in that clip, and he's just the beginning of the star-studded cast: in addition to Tatum, The Son of No One includes Katie Holmes, Ray Liotta, Juliette Binoche, Al Pacino and Tracy Morgan playing Tatum's childhood friend, in a performance that's dead-serious and very, very far from his 30 Rock character. As a hard-boiled cop story, in the tradition of Montiel's previous gritty films like A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and Fighting, The Son of No One actually gives new opportunities to a lot of its cast. The movie's out in limited release this weekend, at theaters in New York, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago, Minneapolis and Boca Raton.
