The first trailer for Tom Hank’s next movie, Charlie Wilson’s War has just popped up online. In it, he’s a playboy congressman who teams up with a renegade CIA agent (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and a sexy, rich Texas socialite (Julia Roberts) to set up a covert operation to help Afghanistan rebels fight off a Soviet invasion in the 80s. You know how you’re always hearing commentators say that we’re the ones who handed all those weapons over to the Taliban and Al-Queda in the first place? This is the guy who did it. Whoops.
