Chris Hemsworth is getting ready to have a banner year. While we've all gotten to know him as the god of thunder from last year's summer blockbuster Thor, we will see him play the character again this May in Joss Whedon's The Avengers, he plays a lead role in Drew Goddard's Cabin in the Woods, and come November he'll be fighting off the North Koreans in Red Dawn. One of his biggest duties, however, will protecting Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman, and today we have a brand new image of what that looks like.

Directed by Rupert Sanders, Snow White and the Huntsman follows the original Grimm fairy tale, but adds a very special twist. While the evil queen (played by Charlize Theron) sends the huntsman (Hemsworth) to kill the beautiful young woman known as Snow White (Stewart), he ends up actually training her to fight back against the evil monarch. Due out June 1st, the movie also stars Ian McShane, San Claflin, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone, Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan, and Lily Cole.
